Situated on the River Roding in Barking, East London, The Boathouse studios is a unique and stunning space to host your wedding celebrations. This 19th century converted warehouse features gorgeous industrial details, original brick work and lots of natural light. Over the past 10 years, we have been delighted to welcome many guests to our studios for their wedding receptions, mehndis, nikah and jago ceremonies.

With its minimalist decor, the Boathouse Studios serves as a versatile canvas, allowing you to personalise it to meet your own vision. Our dedicated event planner and creative team are on hand to help bring your vision to life.

You are welcome to bring in outside caterers to enjoy your favourite cuisine.

Convenient amenities include complimentary onsite parking, available weekdays after 6pm and all day on weekends, with room for up to 40 cars.

If you want to have a beautiful wedding without putting a lot of time and effort into organising it, one of our complete wedding package is the way to go. You simply choose your date, select your drinks packages and your décor style, and our friendly and experienced team will make it all happen.

"My husband and I recently held our wedding reception at the Boathouse Studios and couldn't recommend them more highly. Julie and Carole went above and beyond all of our expectations and requests. From continuously arranging extra time for us to stay and decorate, sourcing and liaising with suppliers on our behalf, to moving around their own days off to allow us to come in and scout the place out with our DJ, they made the whole day (and run up) go perfectly smoothly. The venue itself was spotlessly clean and provided a quirky blank canvas for us to make our mark on. Nothing was too much to ask - even the security staff they employed were so friendly that they felt more like guests on the day and the guys in the bar across the terrace helped to find me a shoehorn during a shoe emergency! All in all, we'd wholeheartedly recommend you consider the Boathouse Creative Studios for your event."
