Last week, Barking and Dagenham Giving announced The Boathouse Studios was their first investment in the borough. This is not only their first investment into Barking and Dagenham, but the UK's first 100% community-led investment.

The Boathouse Studios was a successful GROW Fund applicant in 2023, receiving £25,000 grant money and six-months’ business development support which helped us develop the plan to secure the £75,000 investment.
